Every year my garden fills with the most wonderful poppies in various colours from reds to pinks and purples, so I couldn't resist adding poppies to my jewellery collection.

I wanted to create a realistic poppy and so studied the delicate simple lines of the poppy petals and made a number of sketches before deciding on the pieces of jewellery you now see.
